My name is Tara, and I’m a Canadian dreaming of Dublin.

In 2009, my brother took our entire family on a two-week trip to Ireland.  And that did it….I was officially obsessed.  We only spent a few days in Dublin but it left enough of an impression on me to inspire a return solo trip in 2012.  And again in 2013….and 2014.  It seems that if I’m not actually in Dublin, I’m actively planning my next visit. Repeat indefinitely.

I’m not 100% sure how I’m going to use this blog yet. It’s my first so I’m still learning how to drive.  Part travel journal, part diary, part sounding board, with the complete understanding that this is going to seem insanely egocentric uninteresting to most people.  Primarily, this blog is by me, for me.  And maybe a few others who might like to see a lot of pictures of Guinness.
